Hi! I’m Julieanna.

I help women conquer struggles with anxiety, body image, problematic eating behaviors, and depression, to build resilience and regain confidence.

With social unrest here and throughout the world, we do the best we can to adapt to the outside chaos, conflict, and dysfunction. Yet, we have issues in the inner realms of our lives relationally and intra-personally that cause mental and emotional discomfort and distress. Some people choose to try to manage thoughts and feelings alone. I believe that all things in life get better with a little help. We are living in unprecedented times. Indefinite uncertainty can be destabilizing to the most secure-minded humans. Ignoring a problem doesn’t make it go away. Denial doesn’t help anybody with anything. Solutions that don’t work can be reassessed and revised.

If you are struggling, you don’t have to go it alone. Therapy is a powerful tool to help you make the changes you want to see in yourself and your life. Thank goodness for technology. For many of us, our new normal is virtual. I’ve adapted and offer therapy exclusively online on a HIPAA compliant and secure platform. Online therapy has been practiced for more than 20 years. Research shows that online counseling is as effective as in-person therapy. You may already be familiar with video conferencing for work and meeting with family and friends who live far away. Utilizing video platforms to connect with others has been a requisite and is a nice convenience. From the comfort of your own space…
